First separate the two problems
Teammates cannot hear you is an audio-input problem. Saying Invokyr does not finish the board can also mean the board’s sealing task is not complete.
Before retrying the ending word, return the objective item, complete the seal and wait for the spoken prompt.
Check your input and binding
- Open the game’s options and check that the intended microphone is selected.
- Check your actual voice key binding instead of assuming it is V.
- Watch the microphone icon for its muted or crossed-out state.
- Test with one teammate in the same room and ask whether they can hear you.
Early controls lists use B for the microphone switch. Your own binding takes priority. Try a single press and watch the state rather than assuming the key must always be held.
If the icon changes but nobody hears you
A working microphone in another app does not prove Invokyr is receiving that input. Conversely, selecting the right input does not guarantee the problem is fixed.
Use your teammate’s actual voice test as the success check. Do not change several settings at once and then assume the icon alone identifies which one helped.
If it cuts out during a run
Reopening the room may help temporarily, but it is not a dependable permanent fix. Check the save point before leaving so you do not confuse an audio reset with a safe mid-board save.
Get the game logs
Use Options → Open Logs to find Player.log and Player-prev.log. Keep the details of when the failure happens if you report it to support. Avoid guessing sample rates, ports or a Steam-only audio path without a matching instruction for the problem.
