When to shop
Clear a board to reach the shop. Use the break before selecting the next board to buy upgrades, gadgets and furniture.
Useful purchases by situation
| Your problem | Consider | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Repeated team wipes | Old Clock | Offers another chance after Game Over |
| Getting lost | Compass or a return tool | Helps you find the game room |
| Too few inventory slots | Fanny Pack | Adds carrying space |
| Low health now | Milk Bottle | A one-time full heal on purchase |
| Slow movement | Speed upgrade | Improves running speed |
| Low maximum health | Health upgrade | Raises your health capacity |
These are choices for a particular problem, not a universal purchase order. A weapon is not automatically the best use of your first score.
Gadgets and furniture
The Hunter Gun and Flamethrower have limited ammunition. Their refill window is between boards; do not plan on unlimited use in one board.
The Game Master Mask and X-Ray Goggles have limited charge. A Mirror adds another game-room tool, while the Cube Dice Dispenser supplies blocks for climbing. A Compass points toward the game room.
The G.M.E. meter is a separate handheld device. Do not confuse it with the meter used while spectating after death.
Prices and the Old Clock
Read the current shop price before spending. Discounts, rounds and repeated purchases can change what you pay. The Old Clock becomes more expensive as rounds and purchases accumulate, so an old fixed-price list is not a reliable budget.
Cosmetics and saves
Wallpaper and sweater colors are cosmetic choices; do not assume they are permanent unlocks for a new save. A save timer refers to the last completed-board checkpoint, not necessarily every purchase made afterward.
