The route at a glance
Starting board → shop → next board → five cleared boards → Master Board → final seal.
The five-board total includes your starting board. It is a progression count, not a requirement to follow five named biomes in a fixed order. Do not plan on repeatedly clearing the same board as a shortcut.
1. Complete the opening board
Roll, handle the event or gather the required idols, and return to the table. Repeat until the playing piece reaches the center. Recover the soul, bring it back and complete the sealing and spoken prompt.
See How to Play for the full turn loop.
2. Use the shop and select your next board
Spend your score on the tools or upgrades your run needs. Put the completed board on the wall, choose from the next boards offered and bring your selection to the central table.
A shop visit is a chance to prepare for the next board. It does not mean every action you take afterward has already been saved.
3. Clear five boards
Continue through the offered boards until you have completed five, including the first. Each victory creates a save point. To resume the same run, have the original host load the correct save.
Use QUIT GAME for a normal pause in play. Do not confuse it with giving up the run. Save and checkpoint rules explain the difference.
4. Enter the Master Board
Select the unlocked Master Board and place it on the table. Gather around it when prompted. The opened board is identified as MASTER BOARD.
The attic and Henry puzzles are separate secret-room tasks; they are not part of the five-board unlock requirement.
5. Complete the final seal
At the end of the Master Board, return the final objective item to the table. Hold E when SEAL appears and finish the sealing progress. Follow SAY INVOKYR TO END THE GAME, then wait for scoring.
After the ending
Custom Mode becomes available after beating the Master Board. Pull the lever in the collection room and build a board from unlocked boards, house rules and monster figurines. Custom games give no victory reward and no death penalty; the run returns safely to its last round.
